Later that year, Doria pursued her interest in the acting world. She debuted as an actress in the movie Ketika Daun Berzikir.

But it wasn’t after she landed the role of Fatin on Isteri Tuan Ihsan which lead her to gain her footing in the entertainment industry.

Unbeknownst to her, Fatin turned out to become one of the more popular and memorable characters throughout the show launching Doria into Malaysian stardom.

Following the success of Isteri Tuan Ihsan in 2016, Doria was set out for more opportunities in 2017 when the producers were prompted to release Famili Tuan Ihsan, a spin-off movie of the drama. She was once again offered to play the role of Fatin.

Doria finally signed with her very first artist management, Mind Order, who also manages veteran artist Erra Fazira and Fasha Sandha.

The joint venture between Doria and her management lead her to become a series regular. She shot 4 dramas back to back in 2017 and starred in Ku Kirim Cinta (TV3), Papa Ricky (Astro), Syurga Yang Kedua (Astro). Syurga Yang Kedua was her most notable work for 2017. She also acted in Seharum Kasih (RTM) which was not aired.

Doria went a step further in 2018 when she played the vital role of Syakira in Melankolia (TV3). This was her first major role as an actress where she was 2nd to the 1st female lead. Syakira’s plot centered around her toxic relationship with Rayyan and being the better sister. Her portrayal of the role received an overall good response from viewers and her fans.

After Melankolia, Doria starred in Yes Sir Nak Ke Mana? (HyppTV) where she played the role of a former lover. Doria also made a special appearance in Suri Ram (Astro) and played Wani, a pontianak.

Doria’s most active year as an actress was in 2018. To top it off, she hosted the Petrosains Science Show (Astro) and also, was offered and did a commercial with Celcom.

2019 was a year of personal growth for Doria as she took a little time off from the industry to focus on herself. However, she still made time to appear in Ghaib (HyppTV), Puteri Yang Ditukar (Astro) and Dilema (TV3).

In 2020, Doria bounced back with renewed vigor – starring in 3 dramas in the first quarter of 2020. She acted in Kau Perempuan Itu (RTM), Seindah 7 Warna Pelangi (TV3), Rindu Yang Terindah (TV3) and the upcoming Leon Zalika (OkeyTV) set to release in the 2nd quarter of 2020. Doria will also star in the upcoming movie Cinta Segera, where she will be playing the lead role Jenny.

Over the years, Doria was met with many difficulties and disappointments. However her resilience and determination did not deter her from moving forward as an artist. True to her passion, Doria’s top priority now is to conquer the Asian market before embarking on a Hollywood mission. She will be focusing on local projects and auditioning for HBO Asia and Netflix Singapore in 2020.
